Scott Meadows directs the overall business strategy for Brand Real Estate Services. As a real estate veteran of over 30 years, he offers extensive commercial real estate knowledge supported by a strong team and systems-oriented approach. Scott brings a motivational spirit that inspires cultural collaboration and growing organizations. Having built multiple commercial real estate services companies from the ground up, his experience spans nearly all facets of the business. His leadership and keen understanding of real estate guides a team of professionals who are respected for their service, performance and integrity.
Prior to Brand Real Estate Services, Scott was Managing Director, Property Services at Wells Real Estate Funds where he founded and served as president of Wells Real Estate Services, two property services organizations of up to 85 employees in 16 markets. During his 17-year career at Wells, he also held asset management and property management positions. Before joining Wells, he served as Property Manager for The Griffin Company in Atlanta and as a Leasing Representative and Property Manager for Sea Pines Plantation in Hilton Head, SC. Scott earned a bachelor’s of business management degree from the University of Georgia, where he also completed the Certificate Program in Business Leadership.
Scott is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett 2015. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM), a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and holds a Georgia Real Estate Qualifying Broker License. He is active with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also serves on the Boards of the Council for Quality Growth and Sugarloaf Community Improvement District.
Pat Freeman serves as Executive Vice President of Property Management and heads the team that oversees more than 75 retail, office and flex assets, as well as our team of Property Accountants. With over 30 years in the field, his proactive and collaborative approach ensures the value of each property is maximized through efficient operations, fiscal stewardship and tenant retention. As a people-oriented solutions-provider, he effectively teams with a wide array of people and disciplines—fostering relationships with vendors, owners and tenants alike. Freeman’s caliber of experience and leadership skills are unmatched in the market.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Pat served as Senior Vice President for Columbia Property Trust/Wells Real Estate Funds where he managed 11,000,000 square feet of Class A office space and 37 assets in Atlanta and ten other markets throughout the U.S. Before joining Wells, he was Vice President with Trammell Crow Company, Senior Property Manager at Childress Klein Properties and General Manager at Carter & Associates.
Pat earned his bachelor’s degree from FSU and his master’s degree in integrated property and facility management from Georgia Tech. He is in the inaugural class of ten “Fellows” of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association); holds a Georgia Real Estate License; is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®); a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); a Real Property Administrator (RPA®); a Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA); an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP); and holds the BOMI-HP® (Building Owners and Managers Institute – High Performance) designation. BOMA Georgia recognized Pat with The Huey Award for his long-term commitment and contributions to the commercial real estate industry.
Rebecca Waters is responsible for directing the firm’s leasing team and overseeing all associated activities. A 30-year retail real estate veteran, she has proven success in multiple aspects of the retail sector including leasing, property management, investment sales and construction management. Rebecca’s depth of experience and thorough market knowledge delivers a sharp understanding of an asset and how to create value through targeted execution.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Rebecca served as Vice President of Leasing for EDENS where she managed leasing representatives covering six states and established well-positioned merchandise plans that maximized asset values. Most recently, Rebecca is credited for the revitalization of Merchant’s Walk in East Cobb County and remerchandising Lenox Marketplace. Prior to EDENS, she was Director of Leasing with Spectrum Realty Advisors (Colliers) in Atlanta and Aronov Realty Management Company.
Rebecca earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She holds a Georgia Real Estate Associate Broker License and has earned the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS), Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations.
Jason Whitworth joined Brand Properties in March of 2016. He serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for market intelligence, market research and new site acquisition for the development group. His background includes over 20 years of commercial real estate experience with companies such as Julian LeCraw & Company, Carter & Associates and most recently, a multinational, multibillion dollar investment company where he was credited with closing assets totaling 10,000 acres of land which represented 22,000 planned and/or developed residential lots and over 8.4M SF of planned commercial space for sites throughout the southeastern United States.
Whitworth began his commercial real estate career in 1996 when he obtained his real estate license working alongside his father at Whitworth Land Corporation while finishing his degree at the University of Georgia. In 2000 he began a long stint with Carter & Associates where he accumulated numerous awards such as Top Ten Producer and the President’s award. He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of GA, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where he currently serves on the “Awards for Excellence” committee.
Kelly Wallo is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. A key member of the executive management team, she directs the company’s long-range financial planning. Wallo oversees development, corporate and property accounting as well as budgeting and cash flow management to ensure timely, comprehensive and accurate financial reporting to the company and clients. She also presides over human resources and information technology.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Kelly served as Controller for Brand Properties, LLC. Over the past 25 years, she has worked in various roles at several prominent real estate and investment firms as Controller, Development Manager, Asset and Property Manager. Kelly received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
Candy McIntyre serves as Vice President of Leasing for Brand Real Estate Services and oversees leasing for the company’s office portfolio and other office-related brokerage services. As a 30-year veteran in commercial real estate, she develops and maintains relationships that create asset value. In her career, she has closed transactions totaling over $200 million.
Before joining Brand Real Estate Services, Candy was Senior Vice President of Office Brokerage for SK Commercial Realty. Her career also includes leasing assets for Parkway Realty Services, Parthenon Realty, Transwestern, PM Realty Group and TMW Real Estate.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Major in Real Estate from Georgia State University and holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker License.
As Vice President of Leasing for Brand Real Estate Services, Michael Walker oversees all leasing activities for a number of retail properties within our portfolio. Using extensive industry contacts and almost 30 years of experience, he has brought 10 retail centers to 100% occupancy and filled 2 large decade-long vacancies.
Previous leasing and management experience was with major retail real estate owners including Inland American, Brixmor Property Group and Simon Property Group. At Inland (renamed InvenTrust), he oversaw leasing efforts for 50 retail properties in the eastern United States. Prior to InvenTrust, Michael led the northeast leasing team for Brixmor Property Group with oversight of approximately 13M square feet of community and neighborhood shopping centers. Prior to joining Centro (renamed Brixmor) in 2001, he held leasing positions with Urban Retail Properties and Simon Property Group.
Michael has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 1992. He recently earned ICSC’s inaugural and most comprehensive designation, the Certified Retail Real Estate Professional (CRRP) in addition to his CLS (Certified Leasing Specialist) designation that was earned in 1998. He was the 2014 Chair of the New England Idea Exchange Program, and held the ICSC State Operations Chair for MA, ME, NH, RI and VT from 2011 to 2014. Michael holds a Georgia Real Estate License. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Colorado College.
Lisa Graham serves as Senior Leasing Representative and is responsible for leasing retail centers throughout the Southeast. She handles the day-to-day leasing of a variety of retail projects, and her deal-making skills facilitate the establishment of strong broker and retailer relationships. With over 10 years of retail real estate experience, she has successfully marketed centers and negotiated leases with local, regional and national tenants.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Lisa held leasing positions with several real estate companies including Healey Weatherholtz Properties, where she specialized in the merchandising, marketing and leasing of retail properties and The Windsor Realty Group as a Leasing Agent and Tenant Representative.
Lisa studied Business at SW Missouri State University. She holds a Georgia Real Estate License and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Serving as Associate Broker, Mike Lowrey is responsible for the leasing initiatives of numerous retail, office and industrial properties throughout Georgia as well as brokerage activities. As a real estate veteran of over 40 years, he brings a vast wealth of experience in the areas of land sales, leasing, asset management, property management and retailer relationships.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2008, Mike worked at several of the industry’s most notable firms including Simon Property Group, where he served as general mall manager for the Mall of Georgia, Town Center at Cobb and Gwinnett Place Mall. Earlier in his career, he worked at both First Capital Financial Company and The Rouse Companies.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. He holds a Georgia Real Estate Associate Broker License, has a Commercial Realtor designation from the National Association of Realtors and is a Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX). He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM).
Bobby Weldy serves as Director of Engineering and leads the Brand Engineering and Maintenance (BEAM) Team that oversees engineering and maintenance practices for our retail, office, mixed use, and flex assets. With over two decades in the field, his deep insights and experience, coupled with his organizational and interpersonal skills, ensure the value of each property is maximized through efficient operations. As a people-oriented solutions-provider, he successfully engages across a wide spectrum of disciplines and service providers to provide timely and cost effective property management solutions for our ownership entities in all of the operational disciplines, including but not limited to life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Bobby served as Automation Programmer for Emcor, working on projects for Coke, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, Tellus Museum, Salvation Army, University Hospital, Children’s Healthcare, Ridgeview Institute, Simon Malls, Warner Robins Air Force Base, and Gray Stone Power. Prior to that, Bobby served as the Plant Engineer at Childress Klein Properties’ Atlanta assets, including the Galleria, responsible for planning, installing and maintaining all plant systems and equipment.
Bobby holds a Certified Field Engineer (CFE) designation from Schneider Electric, as well as Certificates in/for BACnet programming, Workstation Design, BAS/EMS, Andover 256+, Continuum, Automated Logic, Trane Tracer Summit, SmartStruxure Solutions, SmartStruxure Lite, OSHA Management, Code of Ethics, EPA Universal Refrigeration and NFPA70E. He also holds a Certificate from Chattahoochee Technical College in Commercial HVAC Systems.
Shannon Westberg serves as the Director of Property Management overseeing our PM team and working with the engineering and administrative teams to manage retail, industrial and office space for several Brand Real Estate Services clients in both the metro Atlanta area and in the Southeast.
Shannon is well-versed in multiple software packages including Yardi, MRI, and Building Engines, and has extensive experience with construction management and a wide range of budgeting/ accounting processes as well.
Shannon has over 20 years of industry experience with a number of entities including The Georgia Building Authority, Harbor Group Management Company, Lincoln Property Company and Highwoods Properties. Her background includes management of CBD high-rise and suburban office, industrial, mixed use, and retail assets, as well as the Georgia State Capitol and Governor’s Mansion. She won The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award three times at the international level, with two of those being with Atlanta’s historic Hurt Building. This building is one of fewer than 10 buildings worldwide over 100 years old to be certified LEED Platinum. Her third international TOBY award involved the renovation of 2 Capital Square in 2018.
In addition to holding a Georgia Real Estate License, Shannon has earned BOMI’s Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation. She currently serves on the BOMA Georgia Board of Directors.
Reema Ghani serves as Senior Property Manager for Brand Real Estate Services and is responsible for a large retail property portfolio in the Southeast, primarily in the Atlanta area.
Reema has been a retail property management professional since 2004 and brings her extensive knowledge and experience to assist her team and our clients. Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2020, Reema worked as a Senior Property Manager with RCG Ventures, overseeing 1.7 million square feet. Prior to that, Reema worked with Safeway Group for ten years in property management. She has a bachelor of Commerce and Management degree and is fluent in English and Urdu.
Dj Adams is a Property Manager at Brand Real Estate Services where she energetically directs operations for a portfolio of 10 office buildings and 5 retail centers comprising over 1 million square feet. With over 20 years of diverse management experience, Dj enjoys the challenge of aligning tenant satisfaction with the landlord interests. She is particularly adept at bringing effective project management and successful contract negotiations to her many real estate assets. Dj has overseen numerous complicated construction projects for both office and retail properties.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Dj worked in the legal, collections, HVAC and recycling industries. She remains a principal in two family-owned businesses. In addition to holding a Georgia Real Estate License, Dj has earned BOMI’s Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation.
Kristen Parsons serves as Property Manager in partnership with Vanessa Canupp. She oversees mixed-use, retail and office properties in East Atlanta Village and the Memorial Drive corridor, including Larkin on Memorial, The Jane, and the new Atlanta Dairies development. She enjoys participating in the revitalization of intown neighborhoods and building relationships within the communities of the owners and tenants she serves.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Kristen worked for several years at Prologis where she was Senior Property Manager over a 19 MM square foot industrial portfolio. She has a Georgia Real Estate license and a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from The University of Central Florida.
Madeline McManus serves as Property Manager for Brand Real Estate Services and is responsible for several complex property portfolios for multiple clients. She oversees retail, office and mixed-use properties primarily in the metro Atlanta area, including Vinings Jubilee.
Madeline has been a property management professional for over a decade and has done an exemplary job working with her teammates. She brings her knowledge, experience and personal touch to all her properties to ensure that we meet our client’s goals. Madeline came to us highly recommended in 2019, with nine years of experience working with JLL as a Senior Tenant Services Representative overseeing the Class A Sanctuary Park property with 1.5 million square feet. She also has significant experience with sustainability, working on teams that generated multiple LEED certifications, and oversaw Tenant recycling programs and all contracted janitorial services at Sanctuary Park.
Madeline is pursuing her Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation, and currently holds a Georgia Real Estate License. She earned a bachelor of science degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Lara Parker serves as Property Manager for Brand Real Estate Services and is responsible for several property portfolios. She oversees mixed-use, retail and office properties in East Atlanta Village and the Memorial Drive Corridor, including the Larkin on Memorial, The Jane, and the new Atlanta Dairies development.
Lara has been a property management professional for over 15 years and brings her extensive knowledge and experience to bear in partnering with her teammates and ensuring we meet our client’s goals. Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2019, Lara worked as a Regional Property Manager with DLC Management Corporation and managed the Southeast Region retail portfolio with over 3.2 MM square feet. She also worked with RCG Ventures and CBRE. She has a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Albany State University and is a member of the American Planning Association, Connex and International Council of Shopping Centers. Lara is currently pursuing her Georgia Real Estate License.
Tom Wheeler has retired after a long career with our firm, and still serves as an Associate Broker for Brand Real Estate Services. As the only president in Brand Real Estate Services history until 2014, Tom leaves a legacy of leadership, integrity and customer service.
Tom’s impressive career spans over 40 years when he launched his real estate career with Scott Hudgens Companies, a prominent Atlanta real estate developer with a focus on shopping centers and land development. He has extensive experience in construction, zoning, leasing, property management, financing, brokerage and governmental affairs. Tom has built long- standing relationships with some of the industry’s most notable retailers including Target, Kroger, Publix, Belk, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, Sears, JC Penney, TJ Maxx and many financial institutions.
Tom earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree (1967) and master’s degree in finance (1972) from Georgia State University. As a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, he was awarded the Bronze Star and Vietnam Service Medal. He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and its former Georgia Governmental Affairs Chairman, a founding member and past president of the Council for Quality Growth and founding member of The Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia. He was a member of Georgia’s Board of Natural Resources from 1993 to 2010 and Chairman of the North Georgia Mountain Authority from 2001 to 2008. He has also served as Chairman of the Board for Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District and Homestead Bank. Tom is a long-time member of the Capital City Club and Sea Island Club and resides in Atlanta with his wife Maria and sons Thomas III and Wilson.
