Scott Meadows serves as President and directs the overall business strategy for Brand Real Estate Services. As a real estate veteran of nearly 30 years, he offers extensive commercial real estate knowledge supported by a strong team and systems-oriented approach. Meadows brings a motivational spirit that inspires cultural collaboration and grows organizations.
Having built multiple commercial real estate services companies from the ground up, his experience spans nearly all facets of the business. His leadership and keen understanding of real estate guides a team of professionals who are respected for their service, performance and integrity.
Prior to Brand Real Estate Services, Meadows was Managing Director, Property Services at Wells Real Estate Funds where he founded and served as president of Wells Real Estate Services, two property services organizations of up to 85 employees in 16 markets. During his 17-year career at Wells, he also held asset management and property management positions. Before joining Wells, he served as Property Manager for The Griffin Company in Atlanta and as a Leasing Representative and Property Manager for Sea Pines Plantation in Hilton Head, SC.
Meadows earned a bachelor’s of business management degree from the University of Georgia, where he also completed the Certificate Program in Business Leadership. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM), a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker License. He is active with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also serves on the Board of the Council for Quality Growth.
Patrick Freeman serves as Executive Vice President of Property Management and heads the team that oversees more than 75 retail, office and flex assets. With over 25 years in the field, his proactive and collaborative approach ensures the value of each property is maximized through efficient operations, fiscal stewardship and tenant retention. As a people-oriented solutions-provider, he effectively teams with a wide array of people and disciplines—fostering relationships with vendors, owners and tenants alike. Freeman’s caliber of experience and leadership skills are unmatched in the market and garners significant growth opportunities for the firm.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Freeman served as Senior Vice President for Columbia Property Trust/Wells Real Estate Funds where he managed 11,000,000 square feet of Class A office space and 37 assets in Atlanta and ten other markets throughout the U.S. Before joining Wells, he was Vice President with Trammell Crow Company, Senior Property Manager at Childress Klein Properties and General Manager at Carter & Associates.
Freeman earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Florida State University and a masters in integrated property and facility management from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the inaugural class of ten “Fellows,” of BOMA, Building Owners and Managers Association; and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®); a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); Real Property Administrator (RPA); Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA); and an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP).
Rebecca Waters serves as Executive Vice President of Leasing and is responsible for directing the firm’s leasing team and overseeing all associated activities. A 30-year retail real estate veteran, she has proven success in multiple aspects of the retail sector including leasing, property management, investment sales and construction management. Waters’ depth of experience and thorough market knowledge delivers a sharp understanding of an asset and how to create value through targeted execution.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Waters served as Vice President of Leasing for EDENS where she managed leasing representatives covering six states and established well-positioned merchandise plans that maximized asset values. Most recently, Waters is credited for the revitalization of Merchant’s Walk in East Cobb County and remerchandising Lenox Marketplace. Prior to EDENS, she was Director of Leasing with Spectrum Realty Advisors (Colliers) in Atlanta and Aronov Realty Management Company.
Waters earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She holds a Georgia Real Estate License and the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS), Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations.
Jason Whitworth serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for growing the company portfolio by attracting and signing new clients and properties for the Real Estate Services group. His background includes over 20 years of commercial real estate experience with companies such as Whitworth Land Corporation, Carter & Associates, Commercial Property Professionals, and most recently, a multinational, multibillion dollar investment company where he was credited with closing assets totaling 10,000 acres of land which represented 22,000 developed/soon to be developed residential lots and over 8.4M SF of commercial space for sites throughout the southeastern United States.
Whitworth began his commercial real estate career in 1996 when he obtained his real estate license while finishing his degree at UGA. After completing roles at Whitworth Land and Julian LeCraw & Company, he began a long stint with Carter & Associates where he accumulated numerous awards such as Top Ten Producer. In 2009, Whitworth began a stint as a Principal with Commercial Property Professionals and was honored as top producer in 2011 & 2012. He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of GA, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where he currently serves on the “Awards for Excellence” committee
Kelly Wallo serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. A key member of the executive management team, she directs the company’s long-range financial planning. Wallo also oversees development, corporate and property accounting, as well as budgeting and cash flow management to ensure timely, comprehensive and accurate financial reporting to the company and clients. She also presides over human resources and information technology.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Wallo served as Controller for Brand Properties, LLC. Over the past 25 years Wallo has worked in various roles at several prominent real estate and investment firms as Controller, Development Manager, Asset and Property Manager. Wallo received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
Serving as Associate Broker, Mike Lowrey is responsible for the leasing initiatives of numerous retail, office and industrial properties throughout Georgia as well as brokerage activities. As a 30-year real estate veteran, he brings a wealth of experience in leasing, asset management, property management and retailer relationships.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2008, Lowrey worked at several of the industry’s most notable firms including Simon Property Group, where he served as general mall manager for the Mall of Georgia, Town Center at Cobb and Gwinnett Place Mall. Earlier in his career, Lowrey worked at both First Capital Financial Company and The Rouse Companies.
Lowrey earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Houston. He holds a Georgia Real Estate Associate Broker License, has a Commercial Realtor designation from the National Association of Realtors and is a Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX). He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM).
Bre Clagett serves as Senior Leasing Representative and is responsible for leasing retail centers throughout the Southeast. Clagett handles the day-to-day leasing of a variety of retail projects, and her deal-making skills facilitate the establishment of strong broker and retailer relationships. With over 12 years of retail real estate experience, Clagett has successfully marketed centers and negotiated leases with local, regional and national tenants.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Clagett held leasing positions with several management companies including EDENS, where she specialized in the merchandising, marketing and leasing of retail properties and The Shopping Center Group as a Leasing Broker.
Clagett earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. She holds a Georgia Real Estate License and is a member of both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.
As Vice President of Leasing, Michael Walker oversees all leasing activities for a number of retail properties within the company’s portfolio. Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2015, Walker brings 24 years of leasing and management experience with major retail real estate owners including Inland American, Brixmor Property Group and Simon Property Group. At Inland (renamed InvenTrust), he oversaw leasing efforts for 50 retail properties in the eastern US. Prior to InvenTrust, Walker led Brixmor Property Group’s northeast leasing team with oversight of approximately 13M sf of community and neighborhood shopping centers. Prior to joining Centro (renamed Brixmor) in 2001, he held leasing positions with Urban Retail Properties and Simon Property Group.
Walker holds a GA Real Estate Salesperson’s License and a Certified Leasing Specialist designation from ICSC and was the 2014 New England Idea Exchange Program Chair. He also held the ICSC State Operations Chair for MA, ME, NH, RI and VT from 2011-2014. Walker graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics.
As Vice President of Leasing, Candy McIntyre is responsible for leasing our office portfolio. As a 30 year commercial real estate veteran, she strives to develop and maintain strong relationships in the industry and is focused on creating value in our assets.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services in 2015, McIntyre was with SK Commercial Realty as Senior VP of Office Brokerage where she was primarily responsible for leasing numerous office buildings located in the North Fulton, Northwest, Airport and Central Perimeter submarkets of metro Atlanta. Before joining SK, McIntyre was with Parkway Realty Services as Director of Leasing for Suburban Properties and subsequently with Eola Capital prior to their merger with Parkway. She also worked with Parthenon Realty, Transwestern, PM Realty Group and TMW Real Estate where she leased assets throughout metro Atlanta. In her career, she has closed transactions totaling over $200M in value with numerous highly recognized organizations.
McIntyre has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Major in Real Estate from Georgia State University and holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker License.
Suzanne Bunn serves as Senior Property Manager and oversees in excess of one million SF of retail space and 300,000 SF of office space. Bunn brings over 35 years of commercial real estate experience to the Brand Real Estate Services team and is recognized for being a goal-oriented property manager with solid strategic planning abilities and strong organizational and listening skills.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Bunn worked for a variety of commercial real estate companies involved in development, third party management and private ownership properties.
Bunn earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology from The University of Georgia and a masters of education in counseling psychology from Georgia State University. She has obtained several professional industry designations including Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) and LEED GA. Bunn has also been on the planning committee for the Southeast ICSC Conference for 10 years and served as the conference Chairperson in 2013. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Ann Woodard serves as Senior Property Manager overseeing retail, industrial and office space. Woodard has more than 28 years of commercial real estate experience in property management, asset management, corporate real estate and leasing. Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Woodard worked for numerous commercial real estate companies, including Lincoln Property Company, RREEF and Equitable Real Estate.
Woodard has her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker’s License. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Real Property Administrator (RPA).
Dj Adams serves as Property Manager and services both retail and office properties for the Brand Real Estate Services portfolio. Her strong organizational skills result in successful project development, tracking and completion. She brings over 15 years of diverse management experience to the property management team.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Adams worked as executive support in the legal, collections, HVAC and recycling industries.
Vanessa Canupp serves as Senior Property Manager overseeing 17 properties in Brand Real Estate Services retail portfolio totaling over one million square feet.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Canupp worked for ProLogis and Colliers International where she managed over three million square feet of industrial space in the Atlanta market.
Canupp earned a bachelor’s of science degree from Georgia State University and holds a Georgia Real Estate License.
Andrea Williams joined Brand Real Estate Services in 2017 as Property Manager reporting to Vanessa Canupp and overseeing the Memorial Drive Paces Properties.
Williams has a BA in History with a minor in Italian from the University of Colorado, and a MA in Linguistics from The American University. She spent two years as a real estate paralegal, and the last three years as a Property Manager, overseeing retail and mixed use in the southeast (including the Forum) and most recently One Atlantic Center in Midtown, one of Atlanta’s trophy towers.
Her management responsibilities included preparation of budgets and monthly reports, overseeing all vendor contracted services (including security, janitorial, and engineering), coordination of tenant construction, tenant relations, and support to brokers and attorneys in all leasing matters. She has also been very involved with the acquisitions process for a number of properties, including Tower Place 100.
Beth Amos serves as Property Manager and oversees a retail portfolio of approximately 650,000 square feet. She brings over 13 years of experience managing a wide variety of commercial product, including Class A, B and C office buildings, medical office buildings, small industrial buildings and retail strip shopping centers. She has extensive knowledge in procedures for managing bank-owned, receivership and distressed properties.
Prior to joining Brand Real Estate Services, Amos worked with a number of reputable commercial real estate firms, including Colliers and PM Realty.
She is active in BOMA, having served as the 2015 co-chair of the Sports Outing Committee. Amos is a Georgia native and lives in Woodstock. She is a Georgia Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
Tom Wheeler serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Brand Real Estate Services. As the only president in Brand Real Estate Services history until 2014, Wheeler leaves a legacy of leadership, integrity and customer service.
Wheeler’s impressive career spans over 40 years when he launched his real estate career with Scott Hudgens Companies, a prominent Atlanta real estate developer with a focus on shopping centers and land development. He has extensive experience in construction, zoning, leasing, property management, financing, brokerage and governmental affairs. Wheeler has built long- standing relationships with some of the industry’s most notable retailers including Target, Kroger, Publix, Belk, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, Sears, JC Penney, TJ Maxx and many financial institutions.
Wheeler earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree (1967) and master’s degree in finance (1972) from Georgia State University. As a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, he was awarded the Bronze Star and Vietnam Service Medal. Wheeler is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and its former Georgia Governmental Affairs Chairman, a founding member and past president of the Council for Quality Growth and founding member of The Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia. He was a member of Georgia’s Board of Natural Resources from 1993 to 2010 and Chairman of the North Georgia Mountain Authority from 2001 to 2008. He has also served as Chairman of the Board for Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District and Homestead Bank. Wheeler is a long-time member of the Capital City Club and Sea Island Club and resides in Atlanta with his wife Maria and sons Thomas III and Wilson.
